Renting of Kitchen Facilities

The kitchen and dining hall facilities at the Dartmouth masjid are available for renting to members of the Muslim community. The rental will be allowed only for aqiqa, nikah or iftar.

The following fee applies to the rental per day:
Member (in good standing) $100
Non-member $200

Booking of the facility must be made in advance with the Association. A refundable security deposit of $100 is required. The rental fee must be paid before the day of the function. A receipt of payment will be issued.

The renters must agree and abide by the following regulations: *

No cooking is allowed in the kitchen. Food can be heated up on the stoves and ovens.

Food should only be served in the two dining halls downstairs.

No food is allowed upstairs.

The children must be supervised while eating.

Bring own supplies including disposable cutlery (plates, spoons, forks, cups), paper napkins, etc.

No food should be left behind at the end of the function.

Any leftover food must be removed from the masjid the same day.

The place should be cleaned up after the function. All garbage must be placed in bags and tied.

The carpet should be vacuumed on both the gents and the ladies’ side.

The chairs and tables must be stacked.

The renter will be responsible for any damage to the equipment or the premises.
